Perak Umno chairman Saarani Mohamad said he was glad that the Indonesian government has welcomed Tajuddin’s appointment."Although it has nothing to do with the state government, we are sure that the Cabinet appointed him based on several factors," he told reporters at Taman Eco Rimba Kledang Saiong here on Wednesday ."We are certain that he can represent Malaysia well to the Indonesian government," he added.
On Tuesday , sources from Wisma Putra confirmed Tajuddin’s appointment and said he was expected to begin his duties officially later in May.
