PELETAKAN jawatan CEO Pihak Berkuasa Penerbangan Malaysia Ahmad Nizar Zolfakar bukan kerana penurunan penarafan keselamatan penerbangan oleh pihak Pentadbiran Penerbangan Persekutuan Amerika Syarikat . Ahli CAAM Ragunath Kesavan berkata, Amad Nizar telah menghantar peletakan jawatannya sebelum laporan audit FAA dan penurunan penarafan keselamatan dikeluarkan.
