ALOR SETAR: Pengerusi Parti Keadilan Rakyat Kedah, Datuk Johari Abdul gagal dalam cubaannya merebut jawatan Ketua Cabang PKR Sungai Petani pada Pemilihan PKR tahun ini.
Ahli Parlimen Sungai Petani dan Ahli Dewan Undangan Negeri Gurun itu sekadar memperolehi 464 undi berbanding Simon yang mendapat 567 undi.Keputusan pemilihan tersebut diumumkan menerusi laman web https:pemilihankeadilan2022.com semalam. “Bagi saya keadaan sekarang semuanya ‘okey’ kerana pemilihan ini merupakan satu proses biasa dalam sebuah parti demokrasi. Pemilihan ini dianggap sebagai satu pertandingan sihat dan selepas ini diharapkan semua pihak dapat kembali bergabung tenaga bagi mempersiapkan parti berdepan PRU-15,” katanya.
