GEORGE TOWN: The state government has announced the contract award target dates for the Penang South Reclamation project, Bayan Lepas Light Rail Transit (LRT), Pan Island Link 1 and Pan Island Link 2A, with early works starting on Dec 1.

Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow said it was time to update the progress of the status of the various infrastructure projects.

The tentative targeted dates are as follows: the Penang South Reclamation project is set for Feb 1,2021; Bayan Lepas LRT is set for Oct 1,2021; Pan Island Link 1 is set for March 1,2021, and Pan Island Link 2A is set at Aug 1,2021.
