“While we appreciate the Federal funding we have received, the allocation is not as much as our contribution to the country, ’’ he pointed out. “While we have several ways to increase the state’s revenue, including through increase in assessment, quit rent and water rates, the state will not burden the people during this difficult Covid-19 period.
