Pakatan urges law minister to commit to swift MA63 amendments

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 25 — Datuk Seri Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar should provide his assurance that the proposed constitutional amendments to restore Sabah and Sarawak’s status would not suffer further delays, the Pakatan Harapan presidential council said today.

“As such, the minister in the Prime Minister’s Department must give his commitment to quickly implement the amendments to provide justice to the people of Sabah and Sarawak,” the council said in a statement today. The council also suggested that the postponement was inconsistent with the Memorandum of Understanding on Transformation and Political Stability between PH and the federal government.
