Bukit Aman Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department director Datuk Mat Kasim Karim , in a statement on Saturday , said that a total of 1,389 accidents were recorded, involving 1,711 vehicles.
The breakdown showed that 1,140 of the vehicles involved were cars. This made up 66.62% of the total accidents recorded. A further 211 4WDs and 250 motorcycles were also involved in accidents recorded under the Op Selamat 19 banner.
