BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN: The Brunei government on Tuesday (May 26) said only three active cases of Covid-19 (coronavirus) remain in the National Isolation Centre (NIC) which is based in the city.

Brunei also reported no new cases of Covid-19 on Tuesday morning with the national tally of cases standing at 141, marking the 18th consecutive day without new cases.

According to Brunei's Ministry of Health, no more recoveries were recorded on Monday, maintaining the total number of recovered cases at 137. Of the three active cases are still receiving treatment at the NIC, two patients remain in critical condition. There has been so far one death resulting from the Covid-19 in Brunei. - Borneo Bulletin/Asian News Network
