Only King and Dewan Rakyat can determine who has majority support, says Ku Li

Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah says MPs cannot do as they like even ‘if they had the numbers’.

Tengku Razaleigh, more commonly known as Ku Li, said only the Dewan Rakyat and the King had the power to determine whether one had majority support. “MPs should not act outside of the Dewan Rakyat even though they have a Statutory Declaration of more than half the members of the Dewan Rakyat. All this is meaningless,” he said in a statement today.
