Further alleged details of the RTX 4060 Ti from kopite suggest that the GPU would house 8GB GDDR6 running at 18Gbps. For the record, this would be the first card to use non-GDDR6X graphics memory. That said, the RTX 3060 Ti also wasn’t fitted with the higher-tier memory, and it was the second card to be sport GDDR6, after the RTX 3070. Moving on, kopite also said that the card would ship out with 4352 CUDA cores and 32MB L2 Cache.
Unsurprisingly, Kopite’s tweet does contain any hints as to what sort of performance the RTX 4060 Ti would have, but that’s to be expected, given that the card itself hasn’t actually been announced or acknowledged by NVIDIA, yet. There is also the RTX 4070: the card is expected to launch sometime in the first quarter of this year, although when exactly is anyone’s guess at the moment. In short, it is unlikely that we’ll be seeing this card launching anytime before that.
