SHAH ALAM, April 1 — Ramadan bazaars throughout Selangor will be cancelled until further notice due to the Covid-19 pandemic, said Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari today.“It will be cancelled until further notice, or until the Health Ministry gives the green light for it to be held, subject to stringent policies including social distancing and the like,” Amirudin said during a press conference at his official residence in Seksyen 7.

Selangor follows in the steps of Melaka, Negri Sembilan, and Terengganu — all who have cancelled this year’s Ramadan bazaars as part of their efforts to stem the number of Covid-19 positive cases from increasing.

FT minister do you feel stupid now? I know u already started to backpedal or say something like you were misquoted, misunderstood or you are just a plain fool. Now u can get back to feeling stupid that yr plan to sell your brand backfired.

Yes that ia a right call with good brain, the federal level i have doubt they have any left

Tindakan yang bagus...

Ohhh nooo!!!! Tak dapat la merasa kuih tepung pelita bazaar Ramadan Salak Tinggi tahun ni

Wise MB😍 Putting Rakyats welfare above racial politics👍🏻

Good move, I am willing to sacrifice PARAM rather than celebrate Raya alone

Saving lives. Best decision.

Good move

The whole idea of allowing Ramadhan bazaar, this year, itself is a contradiction of MCO

Sensible decision under such circumstances🙏

I agree with this approach because Selangor has the highest case of postive covid-19. How I hope the state govts will provide assistance to those micro & small entrepreneurs. Tak dapat berniaga = tiada pendapatan

Terbaik YB👍🏻 keputusan paling baik memandangkan keadaan semasa!

Good call.

Wise decision!

No brainer
