Anyone arriving from Sabah will have to go for a swab test three days before their departure.

PETALING JAYA: The health ministry said returnees from Sabah who test negative for Covid-19 and showed no symptoms would no longer be subject to mandatory quarantine effective Nov 25. In a statement, the ministry said anyone arriving from Sabah will have to go for a swab test three days before their departure.

If they test positive during screenings or if they showed symptoms, then they will not be allowed to continue travelling outside of Sabah. “For those who test positive with Covid-19, they will be referred to the hospital for isolation, treatment and monitoring. Meanwhile, individuals showing symptoms will be referred for further examination.”

Alas, bowed down to politicians. 14 days quarantine is even applied in other countries. What makes here so special to bypass it?

DG oh DG!

This is ridiculous. What happen to 14 days incubation period ? Which scientific data driven approach is being benchmark now? Hope MOH comes clean on this announcement as 3rd wave numbers still worrisome till today.
