KUALA LUMPUR: The Immigration Department has not appointed any agent or third party to manage the registration for the undocumented foreigners' recalibration programme.

Its director-general Datuk Khairul Dzaimee Daud said the public was advised not to deal with any agent or third party in registering for the programme.Khairul Dzaimee said the department had received information on agents and third parties offering their services for the programme's registration.

"These agents and third parties offered their services to employers who wished to hire undocumented foreigners as well as undocumented foreigners who wished to go home for a fee. "There are also agents and third parties hiding behind NGOs and companies supplying foreign labour, to attract employers to use their services," he added.

He advised the public to deal directly with the department and follow latest developments and announcements on the programme.
