WASHINGTON: Home Minister Muhyiddin Yassin says the new immigration system will incorporate mechanisms to prevent foreign terrorists from crossing the borders.
“Both applications are being integrated into the new immigration system which is being developed by the immigration department,” he said at the Banyan Tree Leadership Forum on US-Malaysia strategic relations at the Centre for Strategic and International Studies here. At the event, he also thanked the US for its support to Malaysian law enforcement agencies including through training programmes and short courses for law enforcement officers.
