FORMER prime minister Najib Razak and lawyer Muhammad Shafee Abdullah have filed an application to introduce new evidence in their appeals to disqualify former Federal Court judge Gopal Sri Ram from appearing as deputy public prosecutor in their trials. Shafee, who represented himself as well as Najib, told the Court of Appeal three-member bench today that he filed a notice of motion yesterday to seek leave to include Sri Ram’s letter of appointment as new evidence in his and Najib’s appeals.
