Najib Razak said he felt reluctant about commenting on the failure of the government as Umno and BN members are in the Cabinet.
Najib said he had warned the party in October last year that Umno would bear some of the blame over Perikatan Nasional’s failure to govern well although it had no say in the government’s financial and economic direction. However, he said he started to realise that the PN government’s intentions were not right when Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin first tried to advise the King to declare a state of emergency in October 2020.

the people are even more puzzled as to why a convicted person such as yourself is still roaming free, still a member of parliament and given free press space and time, shows malaysia is not resolute enough in combatting corruption in high office, it’s cartoonish really...
