UPDATED 4.55PM | TG PIAI POLLS | Ex-PM challenges EC to take action against Teresa Kok and Karmaine Sardini.

| Former prime minister Najib Abdul Razak has urged the Election Commission to take action against DAP's Teresa Kok and Bersatu's Karmaine Sardini over alleged inducement of voters. while campaigning.

This was in reference to Kok's decision to host an impromptu quiz at a ceramah last night, where sample bottles of palm oil wereAs for Karmaine, Najib accused him of handing outThis was in reference to the distribution of free Celcom prepaid SIM cards - which retails at RM10 - in Tenggayun on Nov 8. Najib said punitive action was necessary, in view of EC chairperson Azhar Azizan Harun's repeated warnings that giving treats and gifts are a violation of the Election Offences Act 1954.

Last night, Kok's impromptu"quiz" was followed by a speech where she hit out at MCA for stringing banners throughout the constituency which read:"The Pakatan Harapan government insults the Chinese and Indian government. Can we sell them palm oil?".However, Kok's retort was that MCA did not do their homework as exports to India and China have increased this year.

In a Facebook post today, MCA president Wee Ka Siong too attacked Kok and accused her of inducing voters.
