Musim perayaan ini dilihat sebagai masa yang sesuai bagi pengeluar kereta menghabiskan dan mengurangkan inventori mereka ke paras lebih sihat sewaktu model baru kereta bakal dilancarkan pada penghujung 2019 dan awal tahun depan.
Cabarannya ialah untuk mendorong pengguna membuat perbelanjaan besar seperti membeli kereta walaupun kadar pembiayaan sewa beli kini lebih menarik berikutan pemotongan kadar polisi semalam oleh Bank Negara Malaysia baru-baru ini.
