Muhyiddin denies slandering Anwar in GE15 campaign speech

claims his speech at the '‘Grand Finale Perikatan Nasional Padang Serai” campaign event in the 15th General Election was not slanderous towards Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, but rather a fair comment.

In his statement of defence filed at the High Court here earlier this week over a defamation suit brought against him by Anwar, Muhyiddin said the Prime Minister should not be offended by the criticisms and questions in his speech."The plaintiff should openly and wholeheartedly answer the questions raised and deny any allegations that he claims are false," the statement read.

The Perikatan chairman also claimed he had no knowledge of or control over the TikTok account under the name"@beritakini8", which uploaded the video of his speech.

I hope he is not digging his own grave…all these election campaign usually are usually videoed so it would be a slap in the face if videos surface of him doing what he denied…
