Johor Baru North deputy OCPD Supt Fariz Ammar Abdullah said that the accident happened when the victim's motorcycle scraped another motorcycle.
"Both motorcyclists fell to the left lane following the accident. The 22-year-old suffered serious head injuries following the incident. "Meanwhile, another victim, who is 21-year-old, sustained light injuries and has been sent to Hospital Sultanah Aminah for further treatment," he said.Supt Fariz also urged those with information about the accident to help provide information by reaching out to the Johor Baru North police headquarters at 07-5563122.
