KULAI: Three more members of the notorious Tai Long gang, including a woman, have been nabbed over a series of house break-ins in Kulai in the past two months.

Kulai OCPD Supt Tok Beng Yeow said the suspects were Rohingyas, with only one of them having the identification card issued by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees.“We deployed a team to conduct six raids around Kulai and arrested the two Rohingya men and woman.

The raids, said Supt Tok, were carried out following a report by a woman lodged on May 16 for burglary in which she lost valuables amounting to RM7,000. “We believe they have been staying in the country for a long time based on their ability to speak Bahasa Malaysia fluently.
