More field hospitals needed in Penang, says Guan Eng

Bagan MP Lim Guan Eng says Penang needs more field hospitals to accommodate the increasing number of Covid-19 patients in the state. – Facebook pic, September 19, 2021.

THERE is a need for more field hospitals in Penang to accommodate the increasing number of Covid-19 cases in the state, DAP secretary-general Lim Guan Eng said today. The Bagan MP said intensive care unit bed utilisation in Penang is currently at 96.6%, putting the state as the second highest for ICU bed utilisation in the country.
