The two plots of vacant land, namely lot number 81242 and 81243, are highway reserve land located on both sides of the Jalan Duta-Sungai Buloh Highway. Former Zone 5 Federal Territory Residents Representative Council chairman Abdul Basir Kunhi Mohd said they did not want the land to be commercialised.

Hartamas Heights Residents Association pro-tem chairman Azim Abdul Aziz said open spaces were important to any community.
