JOHOR BAHRU: Masalah ketidakstabilan politik yang melanda negara sejak beberapa tahun lalu mampu diselesaikan sekiranya Barisan Nasional kembali mendapat kuasa untuk mentadbir negara semula.
Mohd. Izhar berkata, selain BN, tidak ada satu pun parti yang mempunyai struktur organisasi yang utuh dan jangka hayat pentadbiran lebih lama. “Saya dipanggil untuk menyertai Bersatu pada PRU-14 menentang BN hanya atas dasar untuk menyumbang kepada negara, selepas itu saya selesai. Namun begitu, saya berharap dapat melihat Melayu akan bersatu semula dan saya sedar bahawa idea itu hanya dapat direalisasikan oleh BN,” katanya pada sidang akhbar di sini hari ini.
Dalam pada itu, Mohd. Izhar turut menyatakan pendirian untuk terus membantu UMNO agar kembali ke landskap yang lebih baik bagi perjuangan orang Melayu, agama Islam dan rakyat keseluruhannya.
