KUALA LUMPUR: A moderate earthquake measuring 5.1 on the Richter scale hit Java, Indonesia, at 8.26am Monday (Jan 17).

According to a statement from the Malaysian Meteorological Department, the epicentre of the quake was located 160km south-west of Sukabumi, Indonesia, at a depth of 78km.

Gempa bumi sederhana bermagnitud 5.1 di Jawa,Indonesia pada 8:26 pagi, 17 Januari 2022. Pusat gempa bumi tersebut terletak 7.9° Selatan dan 105.9° Timur dengan kedalaman 78 km. 160km Barat Daya dari Sukabumi,Indonesia.
