MIRI, Jan 15 ― The government should allow the people to choose traditional vaccine over Messenger RNA types to protect them against Covid-19 infections, says Miri MP Dr Michael Teo Yu Keng.
Messenger RNA vaccines such as Cominarty , Morderna and AstraZenecca teach cells how to make a protein that will trigger an immune response inside the bodies. The MP said the public should not be forced to accept certain vaccine but be allowed to have their choice at a nominal cost which should not burden them as many are already faced with unemployment, floods and economic uncertainties.
