JOHOR BARU: Fishermen in Muar, who alleged that they were threatened by local maritime authorities, have been told to lodge a police report.

Agriculture and Agro-based Industry Minister Datuk Salahuddin Ayub said he was aware of the issue as it was brought up by Muar MP Syed Saddiq.

"I advise the fisherman to lodge a police report if they were threatened by the authorities so that action can be taken against those involved," he said after visiting a pineapple produce company here in Taman Bukit Indah Monday .
