MAHKAMAH Sesyen di Kuala Lumpur hari ini menjatuhkan hukuman denda RM18,000 atau 15 bulan penjara ke atas seorang penolong pegawai tadbir Dewan Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur kerana menerima wang berjumlah RM2,700 daripada dua pemilik syarikat kontraktor pembersihan.
Hakim Rozina Ayob menjatuhkan hukuman itu ke atas Mohamed Helfien Nordin, 45, selepas dia mengaku bersalah atas enam pertuduhan menerima rasuah daripada dua pemilik syarikat kontraktor pembersihan, yang dimasukkan ke dalam akaun bank miliknya di Maybank Cawangan Medan Tuanku, Jalan Medan Tuanku 1 di Kuala Lumpur, antara Januari 2014 hingga Jun 2017.
