MELAKA: Rakyat Melaka bakal berhadapan catuan bekalan air sekiranya negeri itu tidak menerima hujan sehingga 15 Jun depan, kata Ketua Menteri Melaka Adly Zahari.
Katanya situasi itu tidak menyumbang pada peningkatan paras air di Empangan Durian Tunggal yang kini mencatatkan bacaan 37.8%. “Buat masa ini ia masih belum sampai ke tahap untuk mencatu bekalan air, namun sekiranya hujan tidak turun sehingga 15 Jun depan dan usaha yang dilakukan tidak berhasil maka catuan terpaksa dibuat,” katanya kepada pemberita pada sidang akhbar selepas mempengerusikan Majlis Mesyuarat Kerajaan Negeri Melaka hari ini.
