The National Security Council has agreed to extend the operating hours of restaurants until 10PM. Dine-in is still not allowed.

, the National Security Council has agreed to allow restaurants and eateries to open until 10pm. This new ruling will be enforced from tomorrow, 22nd January 2021.

At the moment, all restaurants and eateries are only allowed to operate from 6am to 8pm daily. With the extension, this will ease congestion during peak dinner hour times asHowever, do note that dine-in is strictly not allowed. Restaurants and eateries are only allowed to operate for takeaway, drive-thru and delivery only.except for the state of Sarawak.
