Selangor Wanita MCA chairperson Ong Chong Swen wants city council and elected reps to ensure such flash floods don't occur again. FMTNews

PETALING JAYA: The Subang Jaya Municipal Council has been urged to provide data of previous flash floods in Subang Jaya to see if previous drainage problems were linked with yesterday’s flash floods.

Ong, who is also Wanita MCA secretary-general, said MPSJ must provide a history of flash floods in Subang Jaya and surrounding suburbs such as Puchong to study the cause of such drainage problems. Major flash floods caused havoc and massive traffic jams in USJ and parts of Subang Jaya following heavy rain that lasted from 4.15pm to 6.30pm.
