KOTA KINABALU: Police are investigating a 44-year-old man after a video of him driving his four-wheel-drive vehicle in reverse through the streets of Sandakan town on Sunday (July 25) went viral.

The incident is said to have occurred around 10am on Sunday in Bandar Kim Fung in Sandakan.Police said the case was being investigated for dangerous driving under Section 42(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987.District police said that the man claimed that he was driving in reverse because his vehicle's gearbox had malfunctioned and could only engage the reverse gear.
