Ampang Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Mohamad Farouk Eshak, in a statement Monday , said the complainant had claimed that he had lost his IC after his bag was stolen by a snatch thief in Pandan Indah.
He then went to the Ampang Jaya police headquarters on Sunday to lodge a report but got angry after being asked to wait. "He raised his voice at the assistant investigating officer recording his statement, saying that he had waited for over an hour to lodge a report.His outburst led to a police inspection, where several pornographic videos were found on his phone.
ACP Mohamad Farouk also said they found that the report lodged was false and that the suspect had done so to avoid paying the penalty to make a new MyKad.Article type: free
