The victim suffered injuries to his left arm, left shoulder, the back of his body and his left ankle was almost severed in the incident at 2.20pm on Friday .
"After receiving a distress call related to the case, a team of members was sent to the scene immediately and witnesses at the scene said they had seen a white car with tinted mirrors in front of the victim's house," he said, as reported by Sinar Harian. He said the man also showed an object which was held by him which looked like a pistol and ordered the witnesses to enter their house.
He also said that from speaking to the victim's girlfriend, the couple were sleeping in a room in the house before a man who was wearing a head and face mask with black gloves approached them while holding a parang in his right hand.
