DESPITE the constant reminders that interstate travel is an offence during the conditional movement-control order, many are still attempting to defy the ban. Senior minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob said yesterday the number of vehicles ordered to turn back after they tried to cross state lines rose to 1,243 on Sunday compared with the day before, besides the 14 fined after committing the offence and are already in their hometowns to celebrate Aidilfitri.
