KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysian Family Sales campaign is able to ease the financial burden of consumers amid the Covid-19 pandemic, especially ahead of the upcoming Thaipusam and Chinese New Year festivities, says Datuk Zuraida Kamaruddin .
The Ampang MP also hoped that the locals would take this opportunity to grab the items which are being sold at lower prices than the usual market price. "Previously, if they brought RM100, they may get only 10 items, but coming here , they may get 15 items," she told the media after surveying the price of essential goods at Aeon Big Ampang here on Sunday .
"Aeon is actually very accessible, allowing low-income Malaysians to enjoy the sales with this lucrative discount," she said.
