The Malaysian Armed Forces' Second Infantry Brigade has created a disinfection machine as an extra measure to curb Covid-19 from spreading among its members. Full story:

Its commander, Brigadier General Malek Razak Sulaiman, said the"Virus Buster" machine, which looks like a decontamination booth, was made using inexpensive materials that are easily available.

"We used materials like iron frame, wood, zinc sheet, plastic, water tanks and AV32 pump to spray disinfectant on our members," he told reporters during a demonstration of the machine at its base camp here on Monday . "All officers and personnel that come into the premises or are going home need to pass through it to be sprayed to eliminate any germs or viruses," he said, adding that the machine cost about RM4,000.Article type: free
