Malaysia wants agreement with Vietnam to address encroachment of foreign fishermen

He said such an agreement had been signed between Malaysia and Indonesia and that a similar agreement could also be signed with Vietnam as a follow-up to the letter of intent signed in August last year as an agreement to resolve the problem. Saifuddin, who is also Indera Mahkota Member of Parliament, told this to reporters when met at the Balok Fisherman Integration Program here today which was also attended by Pahang Malaysia Fisheries Development Board director Rashima Baharuddin.
