Malaysia's daily Covid-19 vaccination rate is now higher than the fastest rate recorded in many countries including the United States.

According to Oxford University's Our World in Data website, Malaysia's daily vaccination rate per 100 population reached a high of 1.27 on July 19. Malaysia's vaccination drive got off to a slow start but things ramped up dramatically this month with the arrival of large amounts of vaccine that the country had purchased.

The United States is an example of this. Its daily vaccination rate is going down, but then again, nearly half of its population has been fully vaccinated as at July 19.While Malaysia still has some ground to cover in order to get 80% of its population vaccinated, its current pace puts the country in good stead.

Very good, but don't spoil it with empty shots...

Good, still waiting for mine

But not fast enough to catch up with new(with/without vaccination) cases.

Yeah but it seems that 1 in 32 people in Malaysia have tested +ve for Covid-19 since the pandemic started. I blame the KerajaanGagal in managing this pandemic & those involved should RESIGN! Opps … ALL 70 MINISTERS SHOULD RESIGN! Not just one or two

Higher vaccination rate but with higher +VE & death cases, who has failed to carry out their responsibility? Step down.....

Still failed

And the number of cases is also very high

As long don't get SeeNoVac. (Sinovac is Good, Malaysia version yang takut, angin won't fight the virus)

shameless, comparing apples & oranges

Why is this making the news? Please get your competitor correct. It is Malaysia vs the virus, which obviously we lost. Not Malaysia vs US or another country. Please get your priorities correct

Fast vaccinations n higher daily cases

Hurry up 2nd dose.. we need to be fully vaccine. Most of 1st dose are infected and hospitalized..1st dose people please adhere SOPs U’re level is still not protected yet.

Keep it up KKMPutrajaya

Tahniah la jadi juara dunia hahahha dlm covid.

We only have 3 million odd registered and waiting for the 1st dose. At this rate all 3 million should be vaccinated within the 10 days. How about getting the the rest registered and vaccinated? Have they a plan.

Your time will come, just wait and wait

Of course we started late don't we?

I believe this is not the race. The deaths statistic is terrifying. Its going to us near soon

Also: Still falls short of original timeline.

It would be better if the infection rate is going down instead of sky rocketing all time high.

Not important which country is the fastest. Reducing the curb is what we need. We need a new life.

Hello! the people of the world are rising up against the NEEDLE tyranny

Is our rate of infection also faster than US?

Daily cases in Asia , Malaysia is highest

Still with almost 16k cases recorded daily, the pandemic plan still a total failure!

And so is our infection rate.

Good job Malaysia 👍

But cases getting higher too. NOT Good

The number of positive cases also at rise ...

Delay is Delay..Failure is Failure.

Should have been faster not proud of higher but so late

Hopefully not empty shots

Still I haven’t got appt date yet.
