PETALING JAYA: Malaysia bakal menjadi negara pertama di Asia Tenggara yang mempunyai sistem pengangkutan bas tanpa pemandu atau bas pandu sendiri yang akan direalisasikan di Iskandar Malaysia dalam tempoh terdekat.
Sistem yang dikendalikan secara automatik sepenuhnya ini dikenali sebagai Transit Rapid Bas Iskandar Malaysia dan akan memulakan program ujian perintis selama tiga bulan bermula April ini. Menurut Ketua Eksekutif Pihak Berkuasa Wilayah Pembangunan Iskandar , Datuk Ismail Ibrahim, Iskandar Malaysia juga akan menjadi bandar pertama di Malaysia dan Asia Tenggara yang menguji sistem Rapid Transit Automatik menerusi program ujian perintis itu.
