as of 18th October 2021. Over 48 million vaccine doses have been administered so far nationwide. 25.2 million people or 77.3% of the total population have received at least one dose while 22.9 million individuals or 70.2% have been fully vaccinated with either a single or two-dose vaccine.
In terms of the adult population, 97.2% have received at least one dose and 94% have been fully vaccinated. The federal government havevaccine booster shots for high-risk groups. This includes medical frontliners and senior citizens aged 60 years old and above. As of 18th October, a total of 30,756 booster doses have been administered so far.
