MALAYSIA Airports Holdings Bhd is strengthening its contingency plans to prevent the recurrence of a major network failure following a four-day system breakdown last month.“Hard lessons were learnt from this experience and we will use them to move forward. Our business continuity management unit is already working on a list of improvements to further fortify our contingency plans and prevent a recurrence,” the airport operator said in a statement today.
The contingency plan is to contain the impact of network disruptions, prevent more flight cancellations and mitigate the effects on passengers. Effective July 2018, access to full reports will only be available with a subscription. Sign-up now and enjoy one week free access!
