MAJU Holdings Sdn Bhd mencadangkan untuk menyerap RM2.7 bilion bagi pampasan tol yang perlu dibayar kerajaan kepada Plus Malaysia Bhd sekiranya pengambilalihan konsesi lebuhraya terbesar negara itu oleh syarikat berkenaan berjalan lancar. “Kerajaan ketika ini perlu membayar kepada Plus kira-kira RM2.7 bilion bagi pampasan tol, dan sekiranya Maju Holdings mengambil alih Plus, kami ingin memaklumkan bahawa kami tidak akan membiarkan kerajaan bertanggungjawab bagi hutang itu,” katanya dalam kenyataan hari ini.
