MACC probe will hurt Bersatu’s credibility, say analysts

THE Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission’s decision to freeze Bersatu’s bank accounts over allegations of money-laundering could ruin Perikatan Nasional’s chances in the upcoming state elections, political pundits said. They said damage would result from the public perception that Bersatu and PN had gained funds from illegal sources.
