To control the standard of import car is okay. But to charge tens of thousand for the permit to benefit crony is not good
without AP, each foreign car will be cheaper up to 50%. imagine rm80k car will just be rm40k. that rm40k saved can be used for housing or daily expenses.
Why don’t we just bar import of cars? No need AP. Malaysians can just buy from loval manufacturers and assemblers.
