KOTA KINABALU: The government will continue to focus on education as its most powerful tool for progress and poverty eradication, says Datuk Seri Dr Maximus Ongkili.

The Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department said education provides the key to success and it turns people's weaknesses into strengths.

Ongkili, who is also the Kota Marudu MP, encouraged schoolchildren to identify their talents and pursue their dreams. Ongkili said that over the past 10 years, more than RM500,000 in financial assistance in various forms had been given out to schools and students from his Kota Marudu parliamentary office.

High quality education, not just education. Measure of success is when kayangan keep their kids in the country’s tertiary institutions and best of other nations come to ours.

Not really high educated can form the rich, if it is like this of that the leader of the country does not steal the esset from 1MDB and SRC or others.Just think of that before you talk through the media.

Education in what? You're not going to get rich when you're not learning about money. You won't get that education in school.
