Worried residents have reparked their vehicles along the main road at Jalan Song Ban Kheng, outside the neighbourhood.
Many of them were seen wading through ankle deep water, hoping for the rain to stop before water starts flowing into their houses.No evacuations have been reported, and the rain is still pouring as of 9.30pm Tuesday.
In our small southern neighbour this surface water could be channelled to be re-use/recycle . Eg they constructed barrage c/w gates. In the case of Penang, such structure may not be suitable. The KL tunnel flood diversion system looks more likely. But don't rush, study first.
