MADRID: Spain defender Diego Llorente became the second player from the country’s Euro 2020 squad to test positive for Covid-19 after captain Sergio Busquets, the Spanish Football Federation announced.
Llorente, who plays for Leeds in England’s Premier League, has left the squad as did Busquets following his positive test on Sunday. The Under-21 team thumped Lithuania 4-0 on Tuesday evening in what was supposed to be Spain’s final warm-up match ahead of the Euro.
