MELAKA: Motorists are at risk of plunging into"Babylon" river in Kampung Pulau Nibong here, warns a councillor with the Hang Tuah Jaya Municipal Council.
Khamisdzee explained that the river got its moniker from a village elder in the 1970s, after vocal group Boney M popularised the song “By the Rivers of Babylon”. Khamisdzee said traffic on the road was quite heavy when he visited the site on Monday together with villager Mohd Yunos Abu Samah.
