KOTA KINABALU: The Federal Government should allow Sabah to procure Covid-19 vaccines on its own to ramp up the vaccination drive in the state, says an NGO.

Sabah Ethnic Groups Association president Yahya Ahmad said this move should be seriously considered to overcome challenges faced in getting as many people vaccinated as possible within the state.

Yahya said although the government is doing everything it can to register people via the MySejahtera app, Internet connectivity is still weak in many parts of Sabah.
